2020. Every Thursday evening at 8 pm the whole town, would join the rest of the country in clapping from their doorsteps in gratitude to all of those working in the NHS, Carers, Key Workers, Delivery Drivers, Refuse Collectors, etc. Due to a national shortage of Personal Protective Equipment many enterprising individuals and organisations began manufacturing and supplying PPE for local health workers.
