For a period during the 1960’s the last bus of the day, the No 14 Aldershot & District double decker would be garaged overnight in the large wooden barn in Winchester Road near it’s junction with New Farm Road. Here the bus can be seen being backed out on to the main road to continue it’s journey in the morning. The No 14 operated on the route from Aldershot to Winchester, via Heathend, Farnham, Bentley, Alton, Ropley, Alresford, Itchen Abbas and King’s Worthy
