The bottom of West Street in the mid 50’s. The white building on the right was a bakers and confectioners known as “The Black & White Bakery”. The bakehouse was through the entrance where a lady is standing with a bicycle. The ovens were wood (oak) fired and there was a large well in the yard which supplied the water
